Your number stays in your browser

- Anonymous page events, no cookies
The checker keeps the entered phone number in page memory and makes no request containing the full number. Only anonymous page events are recorded, without cookies or identifiers.
What the record means
Facts first, identity separate
The number you check never leaves your browser: it is held only in page memory while the result is shown and is never sent to us, stored or put in the address bar. Rangecheck records anonymous page events: the event name (for example a page view or a completed check), the page type and its area code or holder, the template version, the data snapshot, whether the screen is narrow or wide, and the time. It also records the answer to “Did this page answer your question?” (yes, partly or no) and a click on the optional summary button. No cookies, no browser or session identifier, no IP address, no page address and never the number. To count the summary offer once a month, your browser keeps a single date in local storage; it is never sent to us. No session replay, no advertising or third-party analytics scripts.
